The battle of Seattle begins. That morning, thousands of people took to the streets of the American city of Seattle against the World Trade Organization summit. Dozens of roadblocks by incidents and demonstrators forced the organization to suspend the inaugural act. For four days there were demonstrations, initiatives and disturbances and it was one of the first signs of strength of the anti-globalization movement against neoliberal aggression.
