FSLN guerrillas entered the Nicaraguan capital of Managua and ended the Somoza dictatorship

The Sandinista National Liberation Front and the dictatorship of Somoza, which entered the capital manager of Nicaragua, ended. Since the establishment of the FSLN in 1961, there has been an armed struggle against the dictatorial regime in Somoza. Upon reaching the government, they began the Sandinista Revolution. However, the CIA trained and funded the exiled members of the National Guard to fight left-wing government. Thus began Contra and the war that would last until 1990.
