Eight Israeli army reserve officers lawfully requested recognition of the right not to work in occupied Palestinian territories for reasons of conscience

The eight officers of the Israeli army reserve legally requested recognition of the right not to work in occupied Palestinian territories for reasons of conscience. Despite the Supreme Court’s denial of this right, a further 512 Israeli officials in reserve that autumn expressed their opposition to working in Gaza and the West Bank in a public document. They denounced the illegal occupation of these territories and founded the association of Ometz Lesarev (We will reject) Insureds.
