Inasa workers organized a popular wall on the Irurtzun plant to prevent the extraction of machines

Inasa workers organized a popular wall at the entrance of the Irurtzun plant to prevent the plant’s machines from leaving it. Inspired by the popular walls of San Sebastian, the Inasa workers fought hard for several weeks creating the “workers’ wall.” Last year the management informed them of the closure of the plant, sending 115 people to the unemployed. The workers defended the possibility of keeping the factory open and that would only be achieved if the machinery was kept there. They therefore tried to obstruct the dismantling of the plant with disobedience and the protection of many citizens who supported them.
