The first issue of the journal Gipuzkoarra was published. The PNV was the weekly of the party, reporting from the nationalist point of view. It was mainly published in Spanish and wrote several verses and single articles in Basque. On their pages they wrote: Kizkitza, López Mendizabal, Koldo Eleizalde, Angel Zabala, Avelino Barriola and the Evangelist Father of Ibero, to name a few. Alavés, along with the Bizkaitarra and Napartarra magazines, joined their respective countries. In 1913 the Guipuzkoan disappeared to give way to the Euzkadi newspaper.
