Photographer Gerda Taro is arrested in Germany as a member of a plot against Hitler

Photographer Gerda Taro was arrested in Germany accusing her of belonging to a communist plot to expel Hitler. After two weeks he was released and had to flee with his family from Germany.

Together with the duo Endre Erno Friedmann they invented the pseudonym Robert Capa and signed the photographs of both with that name, obtaining a worldwide reference.

Taro died in the Spanish war in 1937 while working as a photographer. From a very young age he was part of the socialist movement.
