They founded in Bilbao the first socialist association of the Basque Country. Facundo Perezagua was the leading and leading driver of Basque socialism. In 1890 he was the leader of the first great strike in the Basque Country. Facundo Perezagua was expelled from the PSOE in 1914 for not agreeing with the alliances of the moderate PSOE.
