Students from the UPV/EHU campus of Vitoria-Gasteiz occupied the 26th portal of the Errekaleor neighborhood. Most of the residents and neighbors had been displaced by the City Hall to build new housing there, with the exception of some opposing families. According to these neighbors, this group of students started the occupation with a project based on self-management Errekaleor Bizirik.
