A group of women headed from Wales to England against an American military base. A group of about 40 people, Women for Life on Earth, protested against nuclear weapons at the Greenham Common military base. In ten days they came to the military base and raised the camp. More and more women joined the struggle and made numerous peaceful acts against the base. The camp remained around the base until the year 2000.
