Eladio Zilbeti was born in Pamplona. He was one of the founders of the football team Osasuna and the Basque party ANV in Pamplona, when the match he belonged to leaned to the left. He was arrested in December 1936 and shot in January 1937 by the Francoists in Etxauri, accused of being against the national movement.
