The prisoners of the castle of La Mota de San Sebastian denounced the precarious living conditions. In the written letter to the Representative of Gipuzkoa it was explained that, among other humiliations, prisoners who knew only Basque threatened to beat the guards if they did so in Basque. As a result of a one-month getaway in that prison, conditions worsened considerably. They call on the Member to take charge of them and to transfer them to the military.
