Bautista Landa Tretatxu dies, a prisoner in a cell in Valladolid. Cruel offender for authorities and powerful, he committed eleven robberies between 1751 and 1753, mostly in Álava and Bizkaia. He also dedicated himself to assault the priests’ houses and smuggling. Born in the Larrauri district of Mungia, it was supported by the citizens and is considered a social crossbody.
