Hitler outlaws trade unions in Germany

In Germany the unions were illegalized by Hitler's order. On the eve of May 1, they explored, confiscated and arrested the leaders of the trade union headquarters and publishing houses. The agents representing the labour movement joined the German Labour Front under the control of the Nazi government. Most unions went underground.
