Hundreds of citizens and AIM movement started Wounded Knee occupation in the United States

In the United States, hundreds of citizens and followers of the AIM movement began occupying the Wounded Knee space. Resistance of Amerindians in the twentieth century was the most important action. The occupation lasted 71 days and among the demands was the cessation of Richard Wilson Sioux's president, charged with the murder of members of the tribal council of members of the corruption and opposition. The police surrounded the area and when arrests began the incidents began. Two Sioux citizens were killed by the police.
