The last American soldiers left Vietnam after failing militarily. It was part of the peace agreement. Among other signed measures, the elections in South Vietnam, sponsored by EE.UU, were not approved by the Government of Saigon. The war therefore continued without the United States. In the photo, when in April 1975 the evacuation of Saigon fell into the hands of the troops of North Vietnam.
