The United States launched Operation Niagara in the Vietnam War, a 66-day air bombardment

The United States started Operation Niagara in the Vietnam War. In the 66-day air bombardment, 15,000 Vietnamese people died and destroyed the area. The operation was aimed at supporting the US military base Khe Sanh, surrounded by communists from the VietCong North. During the Vietnam War EE.UU. carried out 24,000 bombings with 100,000 tonnes of explosives on citizens, including napalma and banned chemicals, with serious social and ecological consequences in the country.
