Oliver Laxe once told me that maintaining empathy is the right thing to do in this life. He told me that he was born in Paris because his parents had moved there from Galicia and that in one academic year they had changed schools to a Spanish school and because he didn’t understand anything he had suffered terribly. That he was an immigrant in France and French in Galicia. The name of the school was Federico García Lorca, a name that caught my attention. Life is cruel at times.
