Catalonia is dry. As long as it has not been seen. It is very sky oriented, but drought is not entirely natural or without historical reasons. To a large extent, as all pro-land movements stress, it is a consequence of the economic model. A model that drives sectors that, besides overheating the atmosphere, need more water than the territory can provide, a symbol of tourism and intensive agro-livestock. The crazy mantra of the continued growth of capitalism only increases the consumption of this limited resource. Catalonia overexploits its its freshwater by 31% and is also one of the places in the world that has most privatized the management of this human right: 78% of the population is supplied by private companies. From the sky there will be no solution, not even a wooden doll. The problem is very earthly. It has name and surname.
