What a season! Vitality and courage. As the name of the group itself says, they give everything when it comes to playing each song. They behave enthusiastically, enjoy and transmit a lot of energy and passion.
The Dena group consists of three young people from Ondarroa – Beñat Eizagirre (voice and guitar), Xabat Ituarte (drums and voice) and Unai Aretxabaleta (bass and voice) – and their first album is very audible from start to finish. The songs are beautiful and the production too, as they have made a strong, powerful and sound, very good.
Songs with rock touches, stoner rock, hardcore, post-hardcore, trap and electronics. The members of the group are very curious and recognize that they like to search and meet new groups, find surprises between those they like and those they like in their musical styles and tendencies.
For the most part, fast and heavy rhythms are heard, with cuts and pauses, but some quieter and smoother passages can also be heard. All of this has been combined perfectly. Melodies are raw, hard and savage for the most part, but they also make pretty melodies accompanied by guitar drawings.
All songs have to do with each other, they have a link. The main issue is not feeling anything, loneliness, apathy and ignorance, and criticism is also made of today's society and self-criticism. They've made video clips with songs that, in addition to listening to melodies and messages, allow us to see, convey a concrete aesthetic.
The group was formed in 2017 and its first album, beautiful, is the result of three years of work. Through the Internet they have managed to raise funds to finance the project, crowdfunding, and have achieved the objective of entering a study, living the experience and doing a good job, always with passion. They have worked in the AME study of Mutriku, with Axular Arizmendi, and in the recording sessions two people have participated as collaborators with voice: Rubén Barnedo and Paule Bilbao.
Now, with the record, they want to do as many public performances as possible. Their actions will be visible, audible and sensitive.
