Deus ez. DEUS EZ. Autoekoizpena, 2017.

The Deus Ez group plays rock melodies with great intensity and energy. In some songs you can see touches of hard rock and take good care of melodies. His songs are of alternative rock.

Your first record is already on the street. The recording was made at the Drum Groove Studio in Pamplona/Iruña, with Josu Erviti. In addition to his work as a technician, he has also been the producer of the work, and among all they have made a dense, powerful and compact sound. Singer and guitarist Josu and Eric worked together in the Eric Deza Group, and last year they released their latest album, First Step.

Deus Ez members talk about what they see around them and express their concerns and feelings: “Songs wrapped in a nice skin, rotten inside. These joyful songs sadden me” (The Reward for the Gift); “I have built high walls not to see what is out there. I have prepared pleasing smiles so that no one can look inside me” (Inside); “It is not darkness that scares me today, but everything that light can show” (In the shadows); “Who is going to open our eyes when we cannot move forward? Who is going to offer us his hand when we can’t get up from the ground?” (Two souls); “We shed the burden that left us from the cliff; we destroyed to re-create; we closed our eyes to see” (Photos); “Did we have so much but wasn’t enough for you? Will the sound cry of my songs be heard in the place where you are far away? (Bila); “The wrong paths have always been my favorites. What worries me is the bad side of the good side” (Wrong roads).

The band consists of Eric Deza (voice, guitar), Alex Etxeberria (bass) and Koldo Sagarzazu (drums), from Azkoitia and Eibar, and the Deus Ez group was born in the spring of 2016. They've worked for a year, rehearsing and making songs, and they've finally released their first album in September. In the words of their peers, they've worked with a lot of excitement, enthusiasm, passion and courage, both at the essay venue and in the recording studio, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a lot of enthusiasm, passion and courage, and that's shown in the songs, that convey all of that.
