In the field, over 20 hectares, remains of buildings and monuments have been found, as well as hundreds of tanks dedicated to the processing of grains (fermented fish sauce). According to experts, Neapolis was one of the major grain producers of the Late Roman Empire, but the Romans wrote very little about the city, probably due to its relationship with Cartago during the Punic Wars. The finding can serve to know what the Romans did not tell us.
