The selectivity
2013ko maiatzaren 07a

Born in the second part of the 20th century, Selectividad replaces the previous revaluation and aims to order the entrance to the university. To apply for the exam you must have a Bachelor’s degree and pass the test to be able to study at a Spanish university. Specifically, the student’s Baccalaureate record for the calculation of the average is 60% and the Selectivity Score is 40%.

The test has undergone several changes in its history. Since last year, for example, it is divided into two parts: in the general phase, all students must pass the four lessons they teach and a fifth according to the type of Baccalaureate that each one has done. The so-called specific phase is voluntary, it has to do with the studies that the student wants to do in the university and serves to raise the grade. Likewise, the student may submit more than one call to improve his/her qualification in the general phase or in a specific phase subject. The grade obtained in the last call will be taken into account if it is better than the previous one.
