The Madrid team Aaron Thomas has won the 20th edition of the City of Bilbao Pop-Rock competition. The Best Basque Country Team Award went to the Guipuzcoan group Munlet and the Best Metal Band Award went to Meridian Zero from Tenerife.
The photographers Iñigo Ibáñez and Justy García have set up an exhibition entitled La Avenida de la Libertad in the Kutxa Boulevard of San Sebastián. The watercolors of Rose Marie Stinus are also on display in the same place. Both exhibitions will be open until the 29th.
The Galeusca Federation has been created by associations that bring together Basque, Galician and Catalan writers. The purpose of the Federation shall be to promote mutual cooperation. It was presented last Sunday at the event held in the Monastery of Poblet (Catalan Countries).
The Trikitixa Association of the Basque Country has released the scores of the songs that it compiled in Faborez 1, in the book Faborez, 01. Xabi Aburruzaga was in charge of the transcripts.
