The company Applause premiered the play Grönholm Method in San Sebastian last week. It is a Basque adaptation of the famous Catalan writer Jordi Galcerán’s work El método Grönholm. On the 12th and 13th they will perform at the Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao, on the 22nd in Elorrio and on the 23rd in Irún.
Gorka Salmeron, a legal photographer, has exhibited images from the Puertos collection at the Contraluz gallery in Pamplona. These photographs were taken by Salmeron in 1990-91 and have only been shown once in San Sebastian to this day. You can see them until the 29th.
Koro Navarro wins the 21st century. Jokin Zaidi translation award. Navarro will return the first novel, The grass is singing, by Doris Lessing, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Literature. The title of the book will be The Grass Will Sing and will be released in the fall by the publishing house Beste.
