Between December 9th, ten photographic exhibitions will be exhibited in other venues in Vitoria-Gasteiz. All of them are part of the project Periskopio: looking at press photography. More than 650 images made by 76 photographers from 60 countries have been collected in these exhibitions. Examples include a retrospective dedicated to the photographer Elliot Erwitt (in the Vital Foundation room); an exhibition of images of Basque journalists Koro Cantabrana, Blanca Castillo, Asier Bastida and Manuel Díaz de Rada (in the Cathedral of Santa Maria); and a collection entitled Another look at Barcelona’s Jaume de Laiguana (in the cultural house Ignacio Coaldea), which shows “glamour awareness”. In this last exhibition you can see the image above. As part of the Periscope initiative, the Montehermoso Palace will receive the World Press Photo exhibition from 16 November.
