The City Council of Bilbao has decided to maintain the programming of the festival as "cinemas and cultural spaces have demonstrated in recent months that they are safe spaces". The organization has announced that the festival will be offered in all rooms that ensure the necessary safety and hygiene conditions. The capacity of the cinemas shall be limited to 50%, each space shall have half an hour of ventilation and disinfection of oxen, face masks, safety distance and hydroalcoholic gel available to users.
