"What to eat?" "How to buy?" Answering the Questions
  • Food conferences organized by GITE-IPES and Cultivar, with the support of LUZ and URIOLA, in Bilbao from 24 to 27 October, entitled 'What to eat, and how to buy? Food Sovereignty Objective'. The objective of the organizers is to "disseminate knowledge about food sovereignty and be a resource for the development of the initiative to promote the debate".

In the current context, food sovereignty in the Basque Country, and more specifically in Bilbao, we aim to provide a framework for reflection: is today’s industrial agriculture sustainable? Is it permanent? Where does the transformation of food into a business take us? Is there an alternative? To deepen the theory, and also through practice we would like to draw possible answers with these round tables presented.

If the topic is current and relevant, this is evident. It is only possible to realize that there are several individuals and agents involved. On our part, we would like to be a resource for developing an initiative to disseminate knowledge and promote debate on food sovereignty through this initiative.

No name is required to participate in the event. Entrance to the sessions is completely free.
