Built 51 years ago by the neighborhood, Karmelo Ikastola was built for and in the neighborhood. A year ago, "in order to recover that idea and that space", the Krml Viva platform organized in the courtyard of the old building of Karmelo Ikastola a series of initiatives that focused on "facing the lack of space" existing in the neighborhood and in Bilbao and "recovering the space" that had been built in the neighborhood and for the neighbors.

The old school had been empty for two years. And this year they have filled the space with action. On Saturday, to celebrate the anniversary, an extensive program has been prepared.

The programme is:

- From 11:00: children's games, pintxos, basketball games, children's rocodrome, radio program (together with members of Irola), webtv discussion (with Estado de Excepcion), KRML Viva! material for sale, fair of local products and docuforum (self-management and experiences of occupation).

- 12:00. An animated guided tour.

- 15:00. A popular lunch of local products. Then the singing with Peru, Maddi.G and Maddi.U.

- 18:00. The event itself.

- 18:30. The Donkey Punchers concert.
