The event has taken place when the Police debated the law on child sexual abuse. EH parliamentarian Bildu Julen Arzuaga has taken the floor to insult Puigdemont, one of the members of the police union Jusapol who were in the guest house of the Basque Parliament, and the other has shown his hand in the form of a pistol.
Arzuaga has sent the members of this union their "absolute rejection" to the call for a general strike. EH Bildu parliamentarian has described these unions as "repugnant lobbyists" and accused them of "working to ensure that the victims they have created are not recognised". "For me it is the Nazis who protest at the Nuremberg trial, it is you who protest because there are Courts of International Justice for Human Rights, for me you are the Francoists, who are fighting for the violation of human rights not to be recognised. This is rabid, this is unacceptable, this is a shame, this is a shame," said Arzuaga, increasingly strong, looking at the pp representatives coming out of the plenary hall of the Basque parliament.
The tension is increasing and the President of the Basque Parliament, Bakartxo Tejeria, has laid off EH Member Bildu Josu Estarrona, who has presented her candidacy. In addition, Tejeria has stated that the "insults" that Arzuaga has said will be erased from Parliament's record book. EH spokeswoman Bildu in the Basque Parliament, Maialen Iriarte, has asked her not to do that from her seat.
EITB has captured in images what happened, and you can see it in the video below.
The law has been passed by the Basque Parliament and will therefore be amended as adopted in 2016.
