On April 19, 2013, he was arrested at the Libertad Complex, which was organized on the Boulevard of San Sebastián, and on Wednesday, he left the Dueñas prison at around 11 a.m., serving a full six-year prison sentence.

Egoi Alberdi, Mikel Arretxe, Nahikari Otaegi, Imanol Vicente and Ekaitz Izquierdo Izquierdo, arrested for the same case, remain in prison.

The eight youths had been convicted by the Supreme Court on the basis of statements under torture. They are based on statements made by third parties to the police during torture, as subsequently reported by the defendants to the judge. In addition, they have presented handkerchiefs, t-shirts, CDs and other evidence to prove that they are part of Segi.

In a statement published on social networks by Askegun, it is reported that on May 6, "an interesting program is being prepared on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the popular wall that caused this terrible explosion".

In April 2013, hundreds of people disobeyed the arrest warrant against these eight people. They took refuge in the Boulevard of San Sebastián for 10 days, sleeping in the last three days full of tension.
