Izarkom works to ensure a decent internet connection in rural areas

One of Izarkom’s goals, the telecoms operating cooperative, is to “guarantee everyone and everyone an affordable and reasonable internet service.” Along this road, it has expanded the infrastructure to provide a broadband connection in rural and rural areas.

Outside urban centres, connection is often not the right one, and in these times when digital communication has increased, it is important that everyone has the opportunity to do so. Izarkom is working on this task, for now in Txingudi Bay and Bajo Bidasoa, on both sides of the river. The operator, in cooperation with other actors, aims at the “Telematics Network for Public and Community Telematics of the Basque Country”.
