The Basque Government Health Advisor, Jon Darpón, made a statement on Wednesday denouncing the LAB and ESK unions. He says that ESK has no representation at the sectoral tables and that LAB only has 13%. "87% of the trade unions participating in the sector bureau have not submitted any appeals," said the trade union leader.
LAB believes that Darpon wants to question its legitimacy and has used a “malignant form” to do so. He has denounced that he is the third trade union according to the representation of Osakidetza. On the contrary, LAB has stressed that it is the CAV's second largest trade union and that, if it wishes, it would have the right to participate in the General Bureau of Administrations. He accuses the counselor of trying to divert responsibility and asks him to resign.
Those affected present the Omega initiative
Omega is a project to bring people affected by the OPE in Osakidetza to contact the Basque Institute of Health. The social network has launched Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as a website to contact them.
"In Osakidetza and in our services for a long time the 'Alfas male' have been the absolute owners and owners and we have to put an end to that," they said in a statement. “But that change will not come just from the terqueties of some kamikazes,” they added.
