The decision to release a working prisoner, Jakes Esnal, is postponed on 21 July by the Paris Call Hearing. Esnal has been in prison for 32 years and is 71 years old, he already needs him on the street, but he has been asking for that request for five years and has been repeatedly delayed by the procedure.
On this occasion, the judge has argued that the opinion of the CPMS or the Multidisciplinary Committee on Security Measures should be known, with the approval of the prosecutor who has demonstrated against the freedom of Esnal. Therefore, pending this report, it will not be known until July whether it is released.

The Peace Road has strongly condemned this delay: "Knowing that if Jakes Esnal were convicted in the Spanish state for the same facts, he would be free." He says that behind the situation in Esnal is the prosecutor ' s appeal: "It is legitimate for doubts to arise about the reasons behind that decision. We do not accept that anti-terrorist logic excludes rights, and that state vengeance is constantly maintained."
On 11 June, the whole of society was invited to participate in the Baiona demonstration in order to request the repatriation of Basque prisoners such as Jakes Esnal, Ion Parot.
Today, the Paris court has not been curious to confirm the parole of Jakes Esnal, as did the TAPAT Trial Court in the first instance. Extinguishing decision as at 21 July 2022#aprov.

Furthermore, on 15 June they have another appointment, as the court will take a decision on the freedom of Parot and will concentrate on the preface.
EH Bai has also criticised the Call Court’s strategy to delay the decision and has placed all its responsibility in the French Government: "It does not propose an offer of a democratic solution." EH Bai calls for "active" participation in the Baiona demonstration.
