Basque Centre Euskaldunon Biltoki in the Chantrea district of Pamplona has prepared a comprehensive programme for this summer
  • Already in the summer, the Euskaldunon Biltoki Association of the Malaga neighbourhood of Chantrea has organised a number of activities. Here are some of them.

Dance course

On 24 June, starting at 19:00 hours, the course of Basque dances for adults will begin, with limited places and respecting the security and distance measures.

Bertso Lardaxka

On June 25 at 20:00, the Bertso Lardaxka returns! In this week’s program they will meet once every two weeks to learn and practice Bertsolarism from scratch.

Kike Amonarriz, favorite partner

On June 27, Biltoki Day, Kike Amonarriz will be named a preferred partner, in recognition of all the work carried out throughout his career in Basque and Basque. The event will take place at 13:00 and then there will be a meal.

Children's workshops

This summer, children’s workshops have been organised in Basque at the Biltoki Association. From 16 July until the end of August, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 to 13:00, dedicated to children from 6 to 12 years old. Places shall be limited and health and safety measures shall be complied with.

The workshops will address the following topics:

Tuesday, 21 July: Playing with music

Thursday, 23 July: Cooking

Tuesday, 28 July: Crafts

Thursday, 30 July: Playing with the Basque

You can already sign, the days you want, in Whatsapp 699612124. Each day will be 6 euros; the 5 days, 25 euros. The last day to register will be 9 July. The workshops in August will be reported later. According to Euskaldunon Biltoki, “in this special summer you have the opportunity to spend a few good mornings with your friends and speak in Euskera in Biltoki, stay here!”

Mountain in Basque: Flight from Ezkaba

The route of the Ezkaba getaway consists of four stages and the tour can be carried out in four days, on 19 July and on 2, 16 and 30 August, respectively.
