- The Criminal Tax Tribunal has approved the conditional release of the Basque prisoner Ion Parot, but that is not the case at the moment because the Public Prosecutor’s Office has appealed for the decision. The Peace Road accuses Paris of being "affected by sectarian blindness" and "integrated into a security ideology that does not take into account the specificity of the Basque problem".

The Path of Peace has explained that "this resource is incomprehensible and even more unbearable because it feels persecuted by a 71-year-old prisoner who has spent half a life in prison and whose freedom does not pose any danger".

The Via de Paz, which works in the defence of the rights of Basque prisoners and in the defence of a solution for peace, has announced an important mobilization: "Since today we have announced that, since the magistrates do not give way to the situation in Jon, and since the Head of State and his Government do not take account of the peace process, on 23 July we will block all Ipar Euskal Herria! ".
