The Bilbao partners have launched a protocol against sexist attacks. There were potholes and demonstrations to denounce the attack on Monday at midnight. In addition, a meeting was held on Monday afternoon to condemn the attack, summoned by the partners. Municipal representatives were present.

The second attack took place in Sopelana. The police reported that a citizen found a woman adrift on Saturday morning and decided to call the police “for something strange.” She confessed to being with the police that the woman had been sexually assaulted and filed a complaint in the afternoon.

A 39-year-old man accused of beating the couple has been arrested by local police. The assailant beaten his partner at home with his three children present. One of the children confesses that it was not the first time he played; the same has been stated by some witnesses. The man was arrested on the spot and was sentenced yesterday.
