  • EITB Kultura has been awarded the Luz Award for showing the work of Basque bodybuilders, for bringing projects from all corners of the Basque Country to public television, and for the quality audiovisual they produce. The award was presented by Leire Ikaran and Kerman Diaz on behalf of the production company Green.

For this reason, LUZ has awarded EITB Culture:

"There are so many creators in the Basque Country who wear white pages with letters, paint walls, fill the halls with music, dance youth centers and verses on the fronts, or create stories with cameras. Cultural creation is alive, which has a showcase on public television. A showcase made with care and taste since 2006.

Artists who tell us about the works of artists. With a careful image and aesthetics, and intense montages that introduce you to the story of the creators, a new creation every week.

Unfortunately, whoever wants to find the treasure has to look at the most hidden shelf of the ETB because it has no place in the primetime.

But this is the television we want to watch; this is the culture we want to receive, and of course, this is the language we want to hear.

This magazine invites us to enjoy the novelties, trends and cavities of culture, and the truth is that it is a pleasure to turn on the TV and meet them."

“As before, we will continue to give voice to all creative individuals and collectives with freshness.” Recently awarded with the Audiovisual Light Award, Leire Ikaran and Kerman Díaz, from Green Production, which produces the EITB Cultura program, are satisfied and eager to continue working.
