Two people dressed as Civil Guards try to break into Puigdemont’s Belgian home
  • Belgian police have identified two people who were trying to enter the house where Carles Puigdemont lives dressed as Civil Guard officers.

ACN reported on Wednesday morning: Belgian police have identified two people dressed as Civil Guards as trying to enter the “House of the Republic” in Waterloo where Carles Puigdemont lives.

The police have forced them to remove their uniforms and have them removed from the area. According to the information received by the Catalan portal, these two people were in a rented car.

Puigdemont was not in the Waterloo building at the time because he has been in Geneva since last weekend taking part in a series of human rights events – he is scheduled to give a speech this Wednesday. He will then travel to Finland to take part in an event with a number of MEPs there and will give a speech on the situation in Catalonia in Helsinki on Friday.
