Having talked to a number of traders, he indicated that the clearing mechanism will be put in place immediately, within a period of fifteen days, as reported by the local newspaper Sud Ouest.

With this operation, the French Government wants to ensure that businesses that have been forced to close or reduce their activity during the month of August by the G7 summit will not cause major disturbances.

According to the same sources, the exact budget of the stock market has not yet been made known, although there is talk of a figure that could reach EUR 350,000. Nor is it clear whether the shops in Biarritz or those in more localities in Lapurdi will be able to apply for this.
