AEK warns that the time has come to learn, improve or practice Basque. Like every year, it offers a wide range of services through its Euskaltegis network and the Internet.

In total, AEK has more than 100 Euskaltegis spread throughout the Basque Country, through which eleven other localities are accessed, as well as companies and associations interested in learning Euskera. In addition, online courses reach the place where the citizen is. In today’s presentation, the AEK leaders explained what they want to convey with this year’s motto: "Close, so that the citizens can go far, through doors opened by the Basque Country, that they will go far."

They repeat the idea that has been repeated in recent times: AEK teachers "are next to the students, want to accompany them and offer them the best they have."

Aids and opportunities to learn Basque

They want to maintain and exceed the number of registrations of the previous ones. "We hope more citizens will approach the Euskaltegis," and remember that at AEK they have many different options. In addition, many entities (municipalities, municipalities, administrations...) subsidize. In Navarre, aid has increased slightly.
