The sixth edition of the expert title Transmission of Basque Culture is now ready
  • The sixth edition of the Basque Cultural Transmission (CTE) expert degree is now available and registration is open. Gorka Urbizu, Mursego, Benito Lertxundi, Joseba Zulaika... as always, bodybuilders with a great name and a great variety of fields.

"We have completed the best edition of all time," the organizers say. For the 2016-2017 edition of Mondragon University, she has prepared her degree as an expert on the Aretxabaleta campus, with a higher editing prestige.

As in the last edition, the face-to-face sessions will be broadcast once a month, in a consistent manner, on weekends. On the other hand, there will be the possibility of a more in-depth exchange with the speakers. As in previous editions, on this occasion, renowned representatives of Basque culture will participate in the sessions that will take place on the campus of Mondragon Unibertsitatea in Aretxabaleta.

Once a month from October to June

Students and speakers will meet once a month on a monthly weekend. It starts at 09:00 on Saturday and ends at 13:30 on Sunday. Classes will begin on October 22 and end on June 18, 2017.

The Aretxabaleta campus of the Faculty of Humanities and Education of Mondragon Unibertsitatea will host sessions and meals. For those who need it, there will also be a place to sleep.

  • The month of February: 11-12
  • The month of March: 18-19
  • The month of April: 8-9
  • The month of May: 6-7

The two topics discussed in previous editions will continue to be explored in greater depth in the next one.

On the one hand, the issue of the Basque cultural nation. They will address issues that are at the heart of many discussions: "as the place of memory exercises in the construction of identity, the study of how subalternity exercises occur dialectically in us."

On the other hand, they want to pay attention to the cultural transmission that, for example, microsociology is channeled within the family.

In addition, the following topics will be approached: the keys of contemporary society today, the meanings of the concept of authenticity in (hyper)modern society, the links between culture and economy in the context of market logic e.a.

The registration period for the expert will be open from 18 July to 14 October 2016. There are two ways to register:

From September, come to Eskoriatza, Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences. In the morning, 08:30-12:00; in the afternoon, 14:30-17:30

The price of

The registration fee: 2,500 euros (payment in three parts), 10% cheaper for the members of the association of former students of the University of Mondragon.
