The Haritu Solidarity Network has convened a defensive session in which hundreds of people have met in front of the house pending the judiciary and the police. Carolina hung at the door of her house a letter explaining that her family lives there and that without a judicial document you cannot access home.

But in the end no one has come to realize eviction, and the family and those who have come together in their defence have been satisfied. Since the Haritu which has called the concentration, however, they have pointed out that this matter has not ended here, and they will have to be attentive to the forthcoming eviction.

A representative from Haritu explained to the media that today’s judicial procedure was not appropriate, as the house consisted of “against a third person” and “it was not recognized that Carolina and two minors live in this house”. The representative states that they are trying to obtain housing for the family, both where they are now and in another: “The City Council of Pamplona and the Government of Navarra say they have no house, but in Navarra there are 25,000 empty homes.”

The representative also denounces that in the classroom block the Tesla fund has four other homes on four other portals and more in the surrounding area. This fund acquired in the County of Pamplona a large number of public houses after the crisis of 2008, and over time the rent of the people living in it has increased and then many eviction problems are occurring.

In the txoko located next to Ahotsa.info you can observe the satisfaction of the attendees of the mobilization when they have known that the eviction would not be given.

From the home they have also shown satisfaction and gratitude to those present in their defense.
