The Dow Jones Index is Wall Street’s leading indicator and controls the movements of the 30 largest industrial companies in the United States. Since the Republican victory in the vote for the White House, it has increased by 9%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices have also risen by surpassing records.

Trump’s nomination is causing booms in the market. “It’s a clear endorsement of what’s happening in Washington,” says Peter Tuchman, chief operating officer of Quattro Securities. Investors have invested in anticipation of increased public spending, tax cuts and decisions that will help U.S. companies.
