In recent times, the Spanish penitentiary institutions are announcing these approaches next Friday. Advertisements do, but that doesn't mean they're made from one site to another. More than 24 prison rallies in Catalonia have already been announced, but have not yet been carried out. In the last three years, 78 fewer prisoners have been imprisoned in Spanish jails. Fourteen of them are in four prisons in the Basque Country – in 2018 they were only two – and they have been brought closer to prisons in the area. But almost a third of the prisoners are 600 kilometers from their house and one in five are between 400 and 600 kilometers.
