The five detainees were arrested in various parts of France, including Paris, Indre-et-Loi, and are being held. The two were arrested on the grounds that they intended to set fire to a hotel in Biarritz, where the gendarmerie would be housed. One of the detainees would have sent a message via the Facebook social network in which he called to attack a canton of the Gendarmerie and put them under investigation.

According to information provided by La Haine, the case is in the hands of prosecutor Tours Grégoire Dulin, former adviser to former French Interior Minister Gérard Collomb and former adviser to Christophe Castaner.

In addition to arrests, expulsions

In addition to the arrests, expulsions are also taking place. According to La Haine in the news about the arrests, a week ago a journalist of German origin working on the RDL broadcast was expelled "preventively" from France, prohibiting returning to the end of the G7 summit.

An Anti-War Brigade patrol detained him in a control at the Cote d’Or. He was arrested and placed under surveillance "to ensure the right to residence", while after twenty-two hours in an expulsion cell, the connection of the detainee with the G7 was clarified. On 9 August he was transferred to the border of Kehl to be expelled from the country, imposing a ban on returning to France until 29 August.
