The Bilbao Feminist Movement has taken a spectacular action during this year’s chupinazo. Like Vitoria-Gasteiz and Pamplona in Bilbao, they have called for the prevention of sexist attacks with a banner that read “Feminist self-defense!”

To help women who seek protection from sexist attacks, women’s groups will be in the stands 24 hours a day. “We know, unfortunately, that there will be sexist attacks to which we will respond.”
