The TAV built in Europe divides the territory and is not even effective, as the European Chamber ensured that the costs have been far higher than expected in almost all cases. For these and many other reasons, the unions ELA, LAB, CGT, Steilas and ESK of Navarra have joined the demonstration called for next Saturday, 16, at 17:00 in Tafalla in favor of the Navarro social train and against the TAV project.

According to the trade unions, "the government of change cannot regard this project as absolutely essential". It implies the serranny of public money, it is contrary to social cohesion and it is a serious harm to the environment and biodiversity".

According to the unions, the APR is a model in which more and more resources are being made available to society to create services that only people who have money pay. They say climate change and oil depletion are far from the sustainable model where we need a fast train. "When cuts are being made in health and education, when there are no resources to pay pensions or attend to what immigrants need, spending millions of euros is perverse for some people to spend a few minutes."

For all these reasons, they have called on the Navarre citizens to attend the Tafalla plenary next Saturday.
