The three European countries have used the so-called Trade Exchange Instrument for the first time since its creation. The tool was born for the exchange of commodities, such as pharmacies, agro-industrial goods or those with a humanitarian purpose. The first shipment has already been made.

The Tehran Government is not prepared to buy into international markets what it needs to deal with the coronavirus crisis, and that is why other countries have decided to help it. According to official Iranian data, there have so far been 42,000 coronavirus cases and nearly 3,000 deaths in the country.
